The ministère des Transports du Québec wishes to inform road users that mobile road work will be performed on the Honoré-Mercier Bridge, in the nights from May 26th to 31st, between 9 PM and 5 AM.
During these periods, one lane will be closed at a time.
These interventions might be postponed or shortened due to weather conditions, operational constraints or work progression.
By 2015, there will be over 2000 construction sites on the network of the ministère des Transports. Road users are invited to consult the Mobilité Montréal section of the quebec511.info website when planning trips and to respect the signage in place for everyone’s safety.

We would like to announce the complete closure of Ramp 4, the access ramp to the bridge from Châteauguay towards Montreal, on Saturday, May 11, from 4 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Drivers will be asked to use a detour via Ramp 2, the access ramp to the bridge from La Prairie.
This closure is necessary to carry out repairs on the access ramp’s roadway (at the top of the ramp in the convergence section, where the deck has to be change), and will be integrated into the closure announced by the Ministry of Transportation of Quebec (MTQ), which will be working on the bridge towards Montreal during the day on Saturday (one lane closed out of two).
During this closure, road users are encouraged to use the Champlain, Victoria or Jacques Cartier Bridges, or the new section of Autoroute 30, to get to Montreal.
Finally, please note that no work is planned during the day on Sunday, May 12, for Mother’s Day. There is also no closure planned towards the South Shore during the weekend.
