End of the Work BLITZ on the federal section of the Honoré Mercier Bridge planned on Monday, August 19

We would like to remind you that the major work BLITZ on the Honoré Mercier Bridge that began on July 13 is still planned to end on Monday August 19, at 5 a.m.

The bridge is again to avoid during the weekend (August 17 & 18), one lane will be open in each direction during that period. An important worksite at Saint-Pierre Interchange is also to note (view the message below from the MTQ).

Starting on Monday, two lanes will once again be open to traffic per direction (towards Montreal and towards the South Shore). An entire section of the deck on the federal section of the Honoré Mercier Bridge was completely replaced in these five weeks, allowing us to avoid having to finish the work during nights and weekends.

Message from the MTQ

Important work from the MTQ to note for this weekend (August 17 & 18) at the St-Pierre Interchange, view the map below.

I was so happy when they say the repair blitz was over ….
surprise .. they keep blocking lane week after week …. yester day to go to montreal one hour minimum and more than one hour to go back home ….

So I suggest no more blitz in the future because there is no benefit for the users
