Lane closure – night of Sunday until Monday
The ministère des Transports du Québec wishes to inform road users that there will be mobile marking work on the Honoré-Mercier Bridge from Sunday, July 19th at 9 PM to Monday, July 20th at 4 AM. During this period, one lane will be closed in the area where repair work is being executed.
The ministère des Transports reminds the public to be careful on the roads and to plan their trips with the Québec 511 Info Transport.
The public just have to dial 5 1 1 or to visit the www.quebec511.gouv.qc.ca.

Why isn’t the lane towards Chateauguay asphalted decently on the first part of the bridge? It should be a priority.
It feels like a war zone and i had several car problems (broken muffler and suspension) due to the extreme vibrations caused by it.

@ Giovanni
We will take advantage of the coming weeks and the construction holiday to finish the road marking works. We have already corrected the markings painted last weekend.

The new markings painted on the pavement over the weekend may cause some traffic accidents. There are two solid lines extenting from the closed off section (span being worked on) all the way upto the super structure. If the drivers are to strictly follow the rules of the the road the current two lanes coming from St. Constant heading towards Montreal are obliged to merge into one lane at the level of the original traffic lights on the bridge. The lines should have been made in such a manner as to divide the traffic comming from St. Constant until the work switched spans.
