Progression of Road Works

Road works are progressing well on the access ramp from Chateauguay (ramp 4). To this day, we have layed 61 new deck panels on ramp 4 and a new crane has been installed on the building site in order to accelerate the repairs.
We also want to point out that we have made constant efforts to insure an efficient management of the traffic flow coming from highways 132 and 138. Since Monday, we feel we’ve been able to maintain a good traffic flow even though traffic has increased everywhere on the South Shore.
We have noted all your comments and we will continue to insure proper management of traffic in both directions.

I am impressed with the management of this project. The public has been well informed during the whole operation. We will all be happy with the result since this bridge has been an embarrassment and a laughing stock for quite some time.
