Mercier Bridge

Châteauguay, August 14, 2009 – The ministère des Transports du Québec wishes to inform road users that repairs to the concrete slab of the Montreal bound lanes of the Honoré-Mercier Bridge will be performed from August 14 through August 17.

The repairs will require the complete closure of both Montreal bound lanes from Friday, August 14, 2009, 9 p.m. through Monday, August 17, 5 a.m. During this period road users will have to drive on one lane in each direction on the Châteauguay bound portion of the bridge. The available lane width will therefore be reduced to 3.3 metres.

Please note that if the weather doesn’t allow the repairs to be conducted this weekend, the scheduled work will be postponed to the following weekend.
