Closure of One of Two Lanes Daily from September 21 to 25

We wishe to inform the public of the closure of one of two lanes heading to Montreal on September 21 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., as well as one of two lanes heading to the South Shore from September 22 to 25 from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.
These daily closures will enable the inspection of the bridge’s structural elements in the context of the preparation of the second contract. Please note that this second contract will allow for the rehabilitation of the deck of the Mercier Bridge starting in 2010.

Why can’t they do this work at night? It is creating traffic chaos

why is the trailer trucks not limited to either certain bridges or times of day? It is so stressful when one after the other blocks the road .there is soooo many of them. i realize they have to make a living but we all have to suffer through it and I feel this would really move traffic along.
