Closure of Ramps 3 and 4 – Traffic detour from and to Châteauguay

We wish to announce that the access ramp to Châteauguay (Ramp 3) will be completely closed to traffic from 10 p.m. Friday, September 18, until 5 a.m. Monday, September 21. Please remember that access to the Mercier Bridge from Châteauguay (Ramp 4) is also closed to traffic.

During the roadwork, Highway 138 (Châteauguay) will be accessible by taking the La Prairie exit ramp and Highway 132 to Highway 30 in the direction of Châteauguay. Vehicles travelling from Châteauguay can continue to use the Highway 138 detour road open since June.

We encourage commuters to use other South Shore bridges and the transit system during this construction period. We will like to remind the closure of two out of three southbound lanes on the Champlain Bridge. Motorists are invited to use the Jacques-Cartier and Victoria Bridges at night during the duration of the work on the Champlain Bridge from 11 p.m to 5 a.m.
