Message from the MTQ : Closure of the Upstream Bridge

The ministère des Transports wishes to inform road users that the upstream bridge (Chateauguay direction) will be closed to traffic from Thursday, December 29th, 5 AM, until Friday, December 30th, 5 AM. Despite Thursday announce, wheater conditions, especially heavy winds on the bridge, stop the installation of traffic cones for lanes delimitation.

This closure is necessary for maintenance work under the structure.

Before each trip, find out about road work by visiting www.quebec511.gouv.qc.ca to help you plan your travels. The Ministère des Transports also reminds you remain vigilant behind the wheel and obey the posted speed limits as you approach construction zones.

    how long would this bridge week end closing go for.May be until the next election.

    WILL THE DOWNTOWN #28 CHATEAUGUAY BUS SERVICE BE RUNNING THE REGULAR SCHEDULE AND CROSSING THE CHAMPLAIN BRIDGE?

    Does any one know if buses still go to Chateauguay from Angrignon metro?
