Technical problems on the Mercier blog

Due to technical problems that have occurred recently (hacking), we have had to restore the blog related to the rehabilitation of the Honoré-Mercier Bridge. As a result, over the last couple of days, we have lost certain comments as well as some recent posts.

Therefore, we will republish some of the most recent posts. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we archive received comments and have sent most of them to the ministère des Transports du Québec, since these comments and complaints concern the work that is scheduled to take place underneath the bridge this weekend, namely January 27 to 29.

Thank you.

This is ridiculios. My job requires metro travel to and from Montreal 4 times a day, and now to detour by Champlain!, Why could they not do two way, like they did in the Fall. Bad organizing and planning I say. They really are not thinking about the people who have to drive to Montreal!!!!

i hope at least this time they can respect the hours they post not like last time tell people open at 3.00pm direction south shore open only at 3.45 pm sunday

I can’t believe this is happening again. This is unacceptable. I work in Chateauguay but live in Montreal. The MTQ has disregarded and ignorted the needs of the people living in Montreal. It should be one lane in each direction. It is not convenient at all to go the very long way around by Champlain or Jacques Cartier.

Where can we send our gas receipts???? Because this detour is costing me a lot in gas!!! Why can’t they at least open one lane in each direction ???
